Legend of Crazy Craig & Tuffy the Touca

It was 1982, and five years after Crazy Craig had met Cheeky Monkey on a desert island northeast of Puerto Limon, Costa Rico. Crazy Craig thought it would be a good idea to go back and see if Cheeky Monkey could locate some of his family. They booked a flight out of Dallas, Texas headed for Tocumen International Airport. As the flight neared Panama they encouritered a bad storm causihg their plane to pass over Tocumen and being forced to land in an unexpected small airstrip in the middre of the rainforest inCo1umbia, South America. Immediately upon landing and disembarking they were surrounded a dozen armed members of the Medellin drug cartel. (crazy huh?) Crazy Craig and four other Americans that were on the plane were taken to area on the edge of the rainforest where they were loosely guarded while their captors waited for Pablo Escobar to decide what to do with them. While waiting a toucan appeared in a nearby rubber tree and seemed to speak Cheeky Monkey’s language. (crazy huh?) The toucan convinced Cheeky Monkey to have all five of us follow him . into the rainforest to escape. But we were followed by one of the armed captors who eventually caught up with us. Just as he aimed to fire his mini-uzi the toucan attacked him with his claws and bit him with his beak. Suddenly three men armed with Sig Sauer P228’s appeared and neutralized the assailment, saving the toucan and all of us. We found out later that our rescuers were either Navy Seals or CIA. (cazy huh?) Because of his toughness in battling on our behalf I named the brave bird Tuffy Toucan and brought him back to the states with me. Today, Tuffy can be seen at Crazy Craig’s Treehouse in Branson, MO. Stop by for a visit and more of’Crazy Craig’s stories (like the time he was Andy Williams business manager, Jr the time he began his business career with a $600 loan, or the time he was elected County Commissioner, or …. Okay you get the idea). Come see us and have a good time!
